Step into a rewarding rural nursing role with CMR, covering Broken Hill Hospital and surrounding regional sites including Wilcannia, Menindee, White Cliffs, Balranald, and other MPS facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs to gain diverse clinical experience across Emergency, Medical, Surgical, ICU/CCU, Dialysis, Oncology, and MPS services.




About the Role & Skills Required

We are seeking RNs for flexible contracts from ASAP up to 12 weeks.

Essential skills include:

• Acute care experience, preferably 2+ years in ED, Medical, Surgical, or ICU/CCU
• Triage, ALS, PALS, and first-on-call experience (ED and MPS only)

Facility & Regional Highlights

• Broken Hill Hospital: 27 medical beds, 21 surgical beds, 5 ICU/CCU beds, 6 maternity beds & 2 SCN Level 2 cots, 6 paediatric beds, 6 mental health beds, 10 sub-acute rehab beds, 6 dialysis chairs, 3 theatres with recovery beds, and full radiology, pathology, and allied health services.
• Wilcannia: Small outback town offering community-focused care and hands-on experience across acute and primary health services. Explore the Darling River, historic buildings, and fishing opportunities.
• Menindee: Experience remote nursing in a close-knit town with unique lakes and water-based recreation. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
• White Cliffs: Famous for underground homes and opal mining, perfect for adventurous nurses seeking a truly unique living experience.
• Balranald: Regional hub with access to Murrumbidgee River, wetlands, and local heritage sites, offering diverse community health and hospital experience.
